We plan to have all of the details of the memorial service finalized tomorrow and will post all of the information then. Thanks for all of the comments of support, prayers, and love. They all help us realize the profound impact Maya had on this world in the short time she was here.

I was so saddened by the news of your loss. What a courageous little girl, touching the lives and hearts of so many. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in the days/weeks ahead.

Our family’s have never crossed paths yet your words have touched us deeply. We were given your blog address from a photographer with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. Our daughter was born on 7/11/11 with Trisomy 18. We were able to take her home on 7/23/11. We didn’t know what life would be like or how we would handle things and both me and my husband found comfort in reading your daily blogs. We found ourselves relating to your feeding routines, worries, and joys. Our heart sank when we learned of Maya’s passing but we knew like us you had truly celebrated each day and loved her so deeply. You also inspired us to create a blog for our daughter abigailstale.wordpress.com and we wish your family peace, comfort, and joy as you celebrate the beautiful life of Maya Winnifred.
