6/21/2011 194 Days Old

June 21st, 2011

On the 194th day in the life of the most beautiful girl in the history of the world the morning began peacefully. Maya slept well last night. We were able to suction her and get her calmed down with out much trouble last night. She stayed asleep from 11:30 until 6:30.

This morning Grandam Patti came by to take care of Maya so that I could once again get some stuff done on the house. I don’t know if I wrote this in the blog before, but we decided it was time to try and sell our house. Maya needs more room. So my days have been busy with all the little projects that need to get done before we list the house. Even when I do have to accomplish something during the day I get to spend a few hours in the early morning alone with Maya before grandma gets here. I really like to spend that time with Maya waking up slow. Maya naps on and off through the morning, and I get to hold her as she drifts in and out of sleep. It is our special time together. Time moves slowly and we get to enjoy just relaxing.

This evening Grandpa Bob and Grandma Chris came by to eat dinner with us. They were only able to stay for a short while. We got some good news today…

Maya has a new cousin!  Uncle Chris and Aunt Lori welcomed Tyler Christopher at 1:33pm.  He weighed in at 7 lbs 14 oz. and was 19 inches long.  Siblings Tristen and Hunter are excited to have a new little brother. Hunter was even a little disappointed that he didn’t get to take Tyler home with him.  All are well.  Here a picture of Erin visiting him this evening.

And of course we have to include a picture of Maya from today as well.
