4/9/2011 123 Days Old

April 9th, 2011

On the 123nd day in the life of the most beautiful girl in the history of the world we did something special.  Maya had her first pictures since the hospital without her feeding tube and oxygen.  We had to replace her feeding tube and we thought we would take advantage of the opportunity to snap a few pictures of her beautiful face free of tubes.  Kind of an emotional moment for us…

    Oh, what a treat for Maya to be free of the tubes even for just a short time. We couldn’t love her more with or without the tubes, but thanks for posting these pictures – they are treasures. Hugs and kisses to our very beautiful granddaughter.

    Great photos guys. When I saw them, I hadn’t read the text yet, but I was trying to figure out what was different. She looks so much more grown up.
